Well... what's up??

 Happy New Years to y'all. What's new with everyone? Here ... not so much, finally getting Orion (my Gateway?) tomorrow.  Can't wait. It seems as if everyone is leaving LJ in droves yet again. Wonder what's happening 🤔? Is it bc of that worm Putin??? I rarely watch the news as it gets depressing  ... not for positive little me. 

I am watching a lot of horror movies of late.  I've seen that new Godzilla movie but wasn't too impressed... it was a fun little movie though.

As for gaming, I switched my 3ds memory card with Bees' bc I wanted her to have games to lay. Her card is fucked up... needs to be formatted... will do that tomorrow sometime. I am used to jailbreaking my 3ds, it's no sweat getting the games back. 

G is being a bossy little bitch. I'm thisclose to flat out decking her one. She really angers me 😠 😡 👿 😤 

Eh.. she'll get hers one day. 

Other than that life is good. I went to bed at 8pm  woke up to firecrackers at 12:45am. Couldn't get back to sleep after that. Stayed up til 4am-5am and just listened to music, went on FB, continued working on Bees' console.. no sleep though 😴 

I think that I have another go at sleep...wish me luck.

Yeah, I imagine it's the Russkies having to do with the exodus from LiveJournal. It used to be really popular among furries, but 99.99% seem to have abandoned it, and this was well before the Russia/Ukraine War. I don't mind, since they seemed to really ruined the platform, anyway, which they would also do with Twitter, given all the horrible shit I've seen on that site, especially among furs.

Talking of games my son Rob is loaning me his Steam Deck as I was quite taken with it - it was the cat game that did it, lol.

I wonder if people are leaving LJ because of the hassle about not being able to make payments and losing paid status? They extended mine for a year, but will they keep doing that?

I got to bed late today because I wanted to watch the Rose Parade.
Sadly the coverage I was able to see sucked. :(

I miss the Livejournal days. I've had this dreamwidth account a little while but mostly used it for posting privately. I've been making more of an effort to post access list and rekindle the LJ spirit. I've added you if you don't mind. I miss the days of having an assortment of interesting people on a reading list.
